The problem is that the florist taking your order does not make enough profit from this, so they charge you an extra fee. They call it a "delivery fee", "wire fee", "service fee", or "surcharge" and most of the time don't even tell you about it until right before you pay for the order.

At CheapFlowers.com, we send out your order the same way as other florists do (using networks like FTD or Teleflora), but we don't charge you any extra fees. We spent over $100,000 to automate our order processing system, so our internal costs are much lower than most florists. This, and the fact that we handle a high volume of orders (several hundred a day), allows us to keep our prices low. 

NOTE: The name "Cheapflowers.com" will not be seen by the recipient or be shown on your credit card bill. The flowers are delivered by a local florist under their own name, and your credit card bill will show the name "GetFlowers.com".
